In November 2016 Facility Concepts acquired International Woodworking Inc., a respected leader in architectural millwork. This acquisition greatly expanded FCI’s ability to create unique woodwork pieces such as custom board room tables.
These custom tables are essentially works of art in their own right. Our designers work hand-in-hand with clients to determine everything they want in these finely crafted tables. Senior Engineer & Project Manager Mike Curl talked about the process that goes into these tables:
“Typically, I can provide initial thoughts within a week and then further hone in on their desires from there. For the most part, I think we can provide whatever the client wants, it just takes appropriate sourcing for anything we can’t do in house.”
Custom board room tables are more than just a tabletop, however. While FCI is capable of producing stunning live-edge wood table tops from single pieces of wood, the bases are just as important. Our custom millwork capabilities allow for the tops to be paired with attractive bases that provide functionality, such as built-in wire chases that allow for power and A/V cables to be hidden within the table itself.
